Darjeeling is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hill stations in India, radled in the lap of the North East Himalayas in West Bengal. The town is perched at a height of 2134 metres with a backdrop of the mighty Himalayan peaks
Day 01: Arrive Bagdogra Airport and drive to Darjeeling via Mirik 93 kms 3 hours approx.
En-route visit Mirik Lake and Pashupati Market (Indo-Nepal Border).
Day 02: Early morning visit Tiger Hill ,Ghoom
Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit to Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute (Closed on Thursday), Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday),
Tibetan Refugee Centre (Closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate
(From outside).
Day 03: Morning
drive from Darjeeling to Gangtok 106 kms/4 hours approx. Afternoon half day
Sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Flower
Show, Tibetology (Closed on Sunday) and Cottage Industry (Closed on Sunday)
Day 04: After Breakfast full day Sightseeing
in Gangtok visiting Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Tashi view Point, Enchey Monastery
& Ban Jhakri Water falls.
Day05: Full day excursion to Changu Lake, Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass (Subject
to availability of permits/please find below supplement cost)
Day06: Drive
from Gangtok to Bagdogra in time for flight to onward destination 125 kms 5
hours approx.
