Ukraine is a large country in Eastern Europe known for its Orthodox churches, Black Sea coastline and forested mountains. Its capital, Kiev, features the gold-domed St. Sophia's Cathedral, with 11th-century mosaics and frescoes.

DAY 01: ODESSA ARRIVAL

DAY 02: THE CATACOMBS

 

  • After a leisurely breakfast, the first day of the tour will take you to the most picturesque corners of the city and experience completeness of variety of Odessa. Visit park of Shevchenko – the biggest park of the city, See trade part of Seaport, Joy beaches, the Walk of Fame heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the majestic steles, the most beautiful Frantsuzsky Boulevard and many other must see sightseeing spots.
  • Later take an excursion to the Odessa Catacombs. Beneath the sandy lands on which Odessa settled down, are penetrated long, more than thousand-kilometer tunnels catacombs, hat are mostly the result of stone mining, at first, and then smuggling. Dug in the 19th century, these catacombs were used by smugglers, revolutionaries and guerrillas at the time of World War II.

DAY 03: BELGOROD – DNESTROVSKIY, WINE TASTING IN SHABO

  • BREAKFAST 
  • Morning take and excursion to Belgorod-Dnestrovskiy fortress, interesting to the people keen on spirit stories, military science and architectural art. Get to know the events connected with fortress, its detailed plan of a structure with emphasis on towers and bastions - the most interesting parts of this construction, and their functional mission, especially in strategic planning.
  • Later proceed to Shabo-a famous resort and spa area located 70 km from Odessa. Shabo Winery, which meets all the requirements of European standards, created a production system that allows you to effectively monitor the quality of the wine to the final product. Enjoy the tasting of Wines with some snacks.

DAY04: ODESSA SEA BEACHES (FREE DAY)

  • Free day to spend on sea side. Arcadia has become one of the most famous beaches in Ukraine with its clean beaches with white sand, countless sea side pubs and bars, sea side disco clubs, sea side activities and shopping malls;
  • Evening transfer to Railway station to catch a train to Lviv.

 

DAY05: LVIV 

  • Arrival to Lviv at  transfer to hotel, breakfast; free time to relax. Afternoon city tour. Lviv history is as colorful and amazing as a city itself. It is filled with interesting events and outstanding figures. Today Lviv is more than 760 years old and it has lots of stories to tell you! City situated on the crossing of two profitable trade routes developed and flourished rapidly and became one of main trade centers of medieval Europe. Afterwards while being a part of different countries, Lviv borrowed some parts of culture and knowledge from invaders. Later on it transformed not only to an architectural gem, but also to the modern capital of scientific, spiritual and artistic life.
  • Visit The St. Onuphrius Church and Monastery, the Cathedral of St. George, the Church of St. Nikolas, the Holy Trinity Church; spend some time in city center, Rynok square, High castle.

DAY06: AUSTRIAN LVIV

  • BREAKFAST  
  • Visit Shevchenko Avenue, The Opera House, The Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, The George Hotel;
  • Find out why Lviv is called the city of 20 Palaces, visit The Palace of Armenian Archbishops, The Palace Privacy - Terms of Turkull-Camellos, The Palace of Sphinxes and others; Visit the historical site like The Gunpowder  ST. Lazarus.
  • Overnight in hotel

 

DAY 07: LVIV COFFEE DAY (FREE DAY)

  • BREAKFAST 
  • Spend some time sipping coffee in one of many coffee houses. Lviv and coffee are two notions that became one. Perhaps now it’s impossible to imagine old narrow streets without seductive tart aroma that flies out of small windows of cozy cafés and running through the city mysteriously. In the summer Lviv citizens savor coffee sitting outside of cafés, in winter in cozy warm cafés, sluggishly talking about last news of the city. Take a walk around Stryisky par, the biggest and the most beautiful park in Lviv is a favorite place for promenades.
  • Evening transfer to Railway station to catch a train to Lviv

 

DAY 08: KIEV WELCOMES

  • Arrival in Kiev, Transfer to Hotel, check in, breakfast, free time to relax a bit.
  • Afternoon panoramic City Tour – Have the first glimpse of the beauty of Kiev as you pass by Bessarabsky Market, Shevchenko University, Opera House, Golden Gate, Yaroslavsky Val, Sofia Kievskaya, Starokievskaya Mountain, Desyatinnaya and St. Andrew's Church with descent, etc.
  • Along the way, visit Khreschatyk street and Maydan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square), Funicular cable road and spend some time on the banks of Dnipro river.

 

DAY 09: COSSACK’S VILLAGE & WW2 MUSEUM

  • BREAKFAST  
  • Transfer to Cossack’s village Mamayeva Sloboda Tour with entrance ticket and private excursion with local English-speaking guide. It is the cultural-entertainment complex in the Ukrainian style "Mamaeva Sloboda" is a reconstruction of the Cossack village of the XVIII century On an area of 9,2 hectares, there are 98 different objects, the dominant position among them is the wooden Church. There is also kamenica and cossack outpost, manor blacksmith and the potter, the tavern and many other ethnographic objects, recreating the way of life of Cossacks.
  • After Lunch, Visit WW2 Museum, the most prominent building of Brezhnev’s time with its large collection of military equipment used in different wars            

DAY 10: CORRUPTION MUSEUM

  • BREAKFAST

DAY 11: OPEN AIR MUSEUMS

  • 1000 Hrs Visit St. Sophia’s Cathedral, listed UNESCO World Heritage Site, St. Michael’s Golden Domed Monastery, Visit Kiev Pechersk Lavra, the paramount center of Orthodox Christianity, St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral, famous for its mural paintings.

 

DAY 12: SEE YOU SOON AGAIN

  • 1200 Hrs: Check out and transfer to the Kiev airport to catch a flight back to home.
